Hello and welcome. I am Kristen French and I have been painting portraits professionally for over 10 years, working with clients both here in the UK and abroad.
Most of my portraits are of the furrier members of the family, to which this site is dedicated. Having grown up with what could be considered a menagerie, I came to appreciate that animals across all species have distinct personalities and feelings. It is this uniqueness that I try to capture in my paintings. To accomplish this, I work closely with my clients to create not only the likeness but also capture the essence of their family member.
